This little spot is off the beaten track (by which I mean, just off the highway to Orange), but it's a blink-and-you'll-miss-it scenario and most people drive 5 minutes further up the road to the Instagrammers paradise of Meadow Flat.

I happened to see these gorgeous trees scratching for the sky out of the corner of my eye and quickly doubled back to see if there was any way of getting down to capture them.

It's not the cleanest image, but I like how the rich dark green of the trees in the background and the blue of the sky with the white clouds all make the golden glow of this tree pop even more.
