On The Other Side
As part of the Uluru Astro Workshop run by @jaydidphoto and @tscharke, we had the opportunity to capture the beautiful Field of Light (created by @brucemunrostudio) as the sun went down and dusk settled over the gorgeous red centre.
We indulged in some delicious canapés and were give special permission to set up our tripods away from the main area so we could capture this incredible scene.
I love how the contours and details of Uluru are still glowing in a rich red thanks to the last light of the dying day. You can also see the stars just starting to peak out, and if you look hard enough you can see a streak of a satellite rushing through the sky above.
This was shot using my long zoom lens. Who says landscape photos should be shot using a wide angle?!?
