One Night Show
This photo was taken last year, and is one I have wanted to attempt for a while. And it was definitely a learning experience for me.
I also think it's sort of relevant at the moment thanks to the entire Gamestop thing going on (plus I've got a fair bit of Dogecoin I'm holding onto!) - to the moon!
This is a blend of two images - one for the moon and one for the Opera House. Why? Because I couldn't get them both in the same photo looking anywhere near good enough - which is completely normal!
So the photo for the moon was shot at 1/50s at f/5.6 and ISO 200, while the shot for the Opera House was 1/3s at f/5.6 and ISO 200.
I then blended the two images together in Photoshop to get the final version.
There's still a lot to learn, but I was happy with how this first attempt turned out.
You'll be able to see this photo at the @igapgallery exhibition later this month.
In the spirit of reconciliation, I acknowledge the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which I took this photo.
