⁣⁣Getting swept away
⁣Thoughts swirling around⁣
I am crashing down⁣
Over the rocks and waterfalls
⁣In my mind⁣
And I can't escape⁣
At least not yet⁣

This shot was taken at sunrise just a few short hours after my Milky Way over the Opera House photo was taken. Seeing as I was already up, I decided to head to Bronte and see how the sunrise was going to pan out. Once there, I saw thick cloud across the horizon so decided to head up the hill and look back towards the beach. From that vantage point I saw sets of waves rolling in towards the beach, one side lit by the rising sun and the other dark and ominous.

It's handheld with a slow shutter speed - especially for this lens! - and I tried to capture the movement and sheer confusion and turmoil of these roiling waves.
