Surrender

A small waterfall below the iconic Strickland Falls caught my eye with it's soft, gentle, and intimate flow.

This baby waterfall is just below the popular Strickland Falls in the foothills of Mt Wellington just outside of Hobart. In fact, I wouldn't even call it a waterfall, but I adored the texture in the rocks and the gentle flow of the water down and past where I set up my camera.

One of my favourite things to do when out taking photos is to see what else is around where I'm shooting. For this location, I was there just to photograph Strickland Falls but on my scramble up the path I found this beautiful little scene and I couldn't go past it without capturing the soft, gentle intimacy of it because I thought it was simply stunning.

But to be fair, isn't everything stunning in Tassie?
