To Be Brave
Today marks a new start for me. Not just because I'm posting a photo after another absence, but because I am officially unemployed.
Resigning from my role was a conscious choice, and it came about due to a number of factors.
I have spent the last few months re-assessing my values and desires, and I came to the realisation I wanted to do more in the creative field, and to do that I felt I needed to quit my regular job to allow myself the space to properly explore and ideate and create.
I don't actually know what this means in terms of output, but that uncertainty is part of the journey. And as scary and daunting as it might be, I am excited to see where this might take me.
And I hope you'll join me as I muddle my way through it all!
In the spirit of reconciliation, I acknowledge the Traditional Custodians and the lands of the Awabakal and Worimi peoples on which I took this photo. I also acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, Elders past and present, and celebrate the diversity of Aboriginal peoples and their ongoing cultures and connections to country.
