Dancing in the Storm

The Coogee Surf Life Saving Club during heavy swell.

My first post in a while., and also the first post of 2021.

So as a storm rampages across the city, I thought it fitting to post this photo of the Coogee Surf Life Saving Club from back in February last year, when it was still it's classic facade, and not the microwave-esque thing it has become.

I remember standing on the boardwalk with my long lens attached to my camera, a rain jacket attached to me, and being absolutely gleeful of the conditions - there is nothing I love more than heaving seas and driving rain, so this was akin to heaven for me.

I came out of it dripping like a wet rat, completely soaked to the bone, but exhilarated beyond belief.
