Dragon Eye

An Eastern Australian Water Dragon poses on the banks of the Brunswick River, NSW.It may not be as cute as a giraffe, or as adorable as an elephant, but this is a motherfreaking dragon!Water Dragons are native to Eastern Australia and are notoriously shy in the wild and scatter at the slightest disturbance, but they also easily adapt to regular human presence, thereby making them almost fearless in suburban areas. As evidenced by this little guy as he came and chilled just a metre or so away from us without a care in the world. He was super relaxed, and was more than happy to pose for a few photos.I used the longer lens for this photo, just so I wouldn't disturb him so much, plus it gave a nice bokeh effect around him to really make him pop.The details for this image are:
