Dream in Blue

The jutting cliffs of Tasman Island emerges from the blue.

⁠⁠⁠Rushing forward

⁠Eyes open wide⁠

Thudding beat

⁠Pumping blood⁠

Breathing deep

⁠Soaring up and up

⁠Into the great expanse⁠

Clouds clutch us⁠

Drawing us close

As we live

⁠⁠This dream in blue⁠⁠

There is nothing more exciting than being ⁠in the front seat of a helicopter climbing up into the sky with rotor blades thumping and the rush of adrenalin coursing through your blood. ⁠⁠

You are surrounded by space and air with what feels like nothing between you and the outside, and it is absolutely breathtaking. ⁠⁠

This is a colour version of one I posted earlier (they are actually different shots, but very similar looking!), and I love the blue tone in the ocean and sky contrasting against the rough hewn rock of the jagged cliffs jutting out of the water. ⁠⁠
