Monoliths

The three monoliths of the Red Centre rise up out of the ground.

One from the doors-off helicopter ride, and here you have Kata Tjuta - a group of large, domed rock formations - looming in the foreground, Uluru in the distance, and then on the horizon the faintest glimpse of Mount Conner is possible.

These three monoliths all rise up out of the desert in the middle of Australia, and are formed by the same rock formation that stretches underground.

When I took this photo I had absolutely no idea I had captured all three of these amazing structures in the one photo, but I am absolutely thrilled that I did.
