Ripples

20190603-DSC_0841.jpg

Uluru, jutting out of these ever-lasting plains, strikes out into the air, a monolith unbowed by the ripples of time.

Look at the flow of these windswept dunes.

See how they twist and turn like ripples on a lake.

See how the shadow of Uluru stretches out beyond, almost kissing the distant horizon.

See the Belt of Venus as day transitions to night.

Look at this, and tell me you don't believe in love.

Isn't it amazing what you see when you look at things with a different light. This is my favourite shot from the doors-off helicopter ride we did over Uluru and Kata Tjuta - maybe even of the whole trip.

Have you ever seen Uluru from the air? What did you see?
