Shapes in the Sun
The rising sun broaches the horizon, illuminating the clouds moving across the sky above Uluru, and bathes the spinifex rolling across these dunes in a soft golden glow.
When we first arrived here in the pre-dawn light, it wasn't looking particularly promising as there was nary a cloud in the sky. But then before our eyes clouds started to roll in - first just a small little cap sitting above Uluru - before developing into this system that was whipping across the sky above.
This is a 30 second exposure to capture the movement and accentuate the beautiful colours in the clouds.
