The Place I Left Behind

Imagine a place there in the rolling hills
Where colours of gold and ochre shine
Where open plains spread out below
And the deep sky is an endless blue
There is where I've left my heart
But it's a place I'm yet to find
The place I left behind

Getting lost is one of my favourite things to do when on a road trip.

I love the feeling of exploring winding country roads with no set destination in mind.

It's liberating knowing you have nowhere you need to be, or nowhere specifically you need to go, and it allows me to really open up to the experience and find picturesque country scenes like this.

What's your next adventure?
