Coming of Night

As dusk settles over this little town, creeping ever closer to the dark of night, gentle clouds hanging low over the lake glow in pastel pinks and purples.Beneath this cotton candy sky, lights slowly wink on, shining out across the glassy surface of the lake, reflecting in the water below.All around is the sound of gently lapping waves, as the last cries of birdsong echo in the dying light of day, reverberating through the cool crisp air, calling their mates back to roost.A fleeting moment, but also a lifetime, and one I'm glad to have shared with you.I'm going through my photos from our Italian trip last year, so be prepared for a very European-centric vibe!The details for this image are:
