Path to Pluto
Another astro shot from the other weekend. This was my first time to North Narrabeen Rockpool, and I got there just before peak high tide so waves and water was coming in from everywhere!Probably not the best conditions as low tide is where it's at, but had to make the most of it so I waded across the rushing water and set up for this classic shot of the boardwalk leading towards the core of the MIlky Way. As it was later in the night the core was higher than I would have liked, but the boardwalk happened to lead right to Pluto - the brightest light just above the middle distance there. This is a single exposure with the foreground lit by the lights of Narrabeen behind. For the big picture, check it out on my website.
