Goodbye Kiss
That final kiss
An indelible mark
That might fade
But never leave
Marked forever
I'll carry it with me
In my memories
This is my final image from my series of autumn in Orange. This is from the same spot as my first image in the series, just from a different angle and later in the dusk when the clouds went a rich purple as they captured that last kiss from the sun well after it had vanished over the horizon.
These clouds just were so full of texture and movement, so I opened up the shutter to 68 seconds and just watched them scud across the darkening sky.
It was a beautiful scene, and the perfect way to cap off an incredible trip visiting old friends and exploring an amazing part of the country.
I can't wait to go back.
