Sands of Time

Once the sun has set for another day and the crowds have all gone, a spectacular jewel arises over the eastern horizon of Chinamans Beach in Jervis Bay - a private show for all and for none but one. This shimmering white sand is matched only by the sparkle and glimmer of stars in the clear sky above once night falls.

Sitting here watching the Milky Way rise slowly in the distance, it was like time stood still. There was nobody else around, just the sounds of the gentle surf washing against the shore and trees bowing and creaking in the wind, and I was absolutely captivated.⁣

And I will forever be.⁣
