Enter the Night
Night has come, and with it tour boats ferry passengers - tourists and locals alike - along the Singapore River as they take in the sights and sounds of this vibrant city.
At Clarke Quay, they are disgorged into a world festooned in neon and light, of hustle and bustle, of places to eat and places to drink.
Here a seething mass of humanity flows alongside the waterways, hand in hand or arm in arm, laughing and talking, searching for their next destination to while away the night.
