Faith
I was the only person to capture this shot on the Uluru @astroworkshops this time around as everyone else continued around the corner to Kantju Gorge. I decided to stop here because I saw the position of the Milky Way was almost perfectly parallel to Uluru and thought it would make a decent shot.
There was such an incredible feeling of awe standing in the lee of Uluru - an ancient and expansive place full of heart and history - as the core of the Milky Way moved across the sky.
It is experiencing moments like this that you can't help but feel full of love for this amazing place we live.
This image is 20 photos of the Milky Way stacked in Starry Landscape Stacker to help reduce noise plus another image of 300 seconds to capture the foreground.
